Top Driver Odds at Homestead NASCAR Race
Below are the top drivers to watch at Homestead-Miami's Straight Talk Wireless 400 this year. Statistics in the charts are based on their career at the track while the numbers in copy reflect the Next-Gen Car era at the track.
Christopher Bell
No drivers have had more momentum to start the season this decade than Christopher Bell. To top it off, Bell not only won at Homestead in October 2023, but he's tied with the best average finish at the track since 2022 at 5.3. Bell is likely to finish in the top 5, even if he does not win the race.
Tyler Reddick
Bell may be winning races but Tyler Reddick and the no. 45 team have routinely been one of the fastest cars to show up to the track this year. That, paired with the fact that Reddick is the defending race winner at Homestead-Miami, will make him one of the top favorites come March 23.
Ryan Blaney
The last three seasons, Ryan Blaney has been one of the top contenders at Homestead thanks to his 7.0 average finish and second-most laps led (100) during that time. He had the win in the bag going into turn 3 on the final lap last October but a decision to take the second-lane from the top opened the door for Reddick to steal the win.
Like at Phoenix, Blaney has been knocking on the door to capture the win in South Florida. Is 2025 the year?
Kyle Larson
Nobody has led more laps or has a better driver rating (117) at Homestead-Miami than Kyle Larson over the last three races. His 296 laps led is 196 more than Blaney; for context, the Straight Talk Wireless 400 is a 267 lap race. While laps led shows dominance it doesn't always translate to results, a number that puts Larson 16th among active drivers.
To top it off, Larson has the best average start, rolling off fourth. He'll be a strong contender like the three other drivers mentioned but Larson will need to put together a full 400 mile race to catch the checkered flag.
